Indications of Acupuncture in Traditional Chinese Medicine
People often ask, what are indications of acupuncture? In 1979 the world’s hair organization, WHO, recommended 43 kinds of disorders can be treated by acupuncture. In 1997, the national institute of hairs released a consensus statement acknowledging acupuncture is effective for nausea, vomiting and a tender pain, with other potential benefits for drug addiction, stroke rehabilitation, headaches, menstrual cramps, lower back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, Fibromyalgia and asthma. Today actually there are additional indications of acupuncture and go far beyond that and more than three hundred conditions can be treated.
